Clinical and translational research has been the major strength of any society and culture in today’s world. Since, ancient time’s human being is applying the knowledge gained from research studies over the years for attaining better outcomes in healthcare. Advances in Clinical and Translational Research (ACTR) is a scholarly open access journal that provides comprehensive coverage of recent discoveries and ongoing developments in the area of clinical and translational research. Articles are welcome in the form of original research, review articles, case reports, commentaries, mini-reviews etc. on emerging concepts and points of view.
All the manuscripts submitted to journal will be subjected to a thorough peer review by the experts in the field of the manuscript and the first decision will be provided to authors approximately within 28 days from the date of submission. Minimum two independent reviewer’s approval and an editor approval is taken into consideration for acceptance or rejection of a manuscript.
Articles published in advances in clinical and translational research will be distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium provided the original work is properly cited.
Focus & Scope
The Primary focus of advances in clinical and translational research is to deliver most exciting and novel information about scientific discoveries related to all aspects of research i.e, basic, preclinical, clinical, translational etc. and their outcomes. Advances in clinical and translational research journal cater to the requirements of the medical/clinical practitioners, researchers, lab professionals, students, academicians, and industries that are involved in research.
This journal will provide a comprehensive coverage on studies describing basic, preclinical, clinical, translational research in all the areas of internal medicine, surgery and medical sciences. The journal aims to cover all medical areas including epidemiology, clinical oncology, drug development, regenerative medicine, dentistry, palliative medicine, forensic medicine, pharmaceutics, pharmacology, etc.

Dr. Shibata is serving as professor at Department of Neurosurgery, Mito Medical Center, University of Tsukuba, Japan. After graduating from University of Tsukuba, Tsukuba in 1988 he completed his residency program Neurosurgery, Anesthesiology and General Surgery at Tsukuba University Hospital and received Ph.D. from University of Tsukuba for a thesis entitled; “Neutron Capture Therapy with a new Boron-porphyrin compound in the rat 9L glioma model” in 1999. After receiving Ph.D., he conducted basic and clinical research at the Harvard Medical School, Boston, the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, USA. He published more than 200 peer reviewed manuscripts and more than 50 edited textbooks. He has received many research grants and awards. He is the on the board of the Japan Neurosurgical Society, The Japan Stroke Society, and The Japanese Headache Society.

Article Processing Charges
All the manuscripts submitted to Onjourn Publishers are assumed to be submitted under the open access publishing model. Being an open access publisher, we do not collect any subscription charges and allow the readers free access to all its articles. The manuscripts submitted to the journal will be peer reviewed similar way as in subscription model under the control of editorial board members. If the article is found to be acceptable for publishing in a particular journal then the author will be issued with an invoice for payment of article publishing charges. These charges are used as offset expenses for peer review management, journal production and online hosting and archiving.
